About

Kapiti Old Boys Cricket Club is a community club that provides cricket opportunities to local players and a pathway for junior/youth cricketers at school level and coming out of school.

We have maintained a strong presence in the Horowhenua Kapiti Cricket Association since, winning trophies across all grades and providing many Age Group and Senior Representatives to the HKCA as well as administrators to their board. We are part of the Horowhenua-Kapiti cricket association that covers Paekakariki – Foxton areas, we service from Paekakariki – Waikanae and have players from numerous locations, as a club we have approximately 35 – 40 active senior players and have a team in each of the three local senior grades.

Kapiti Old Boys Cricket Club was established in 1976 and we pride ourselves on adding value to the community by teaching young players valuable life lessons like interacting in a predominantly adult environment safely, providing contacts through our club playing members for potential employment opportunities and providing a way for adults to keep fit mentally and physically.
The new coach will teach his skills to our junior teams, college teams and senior sides. The club will be expanding to 4 junior teams in 2018. We have a strong focus with Kapiti College to introduce senior college players to Club level cricket and possibly higher honors.
